Provision of Society Mailings
Each Affiliate Member is entitled to designate two representatives to receive Society mailings. Society mailings include the newsletter, the Trillium, which is published three times per year, conference and seminar brochures, as well as other items.

Members Fee Rates For All Society Programs and Events
Designated and supplemental representatives of Affiliate Members may attend Society programs and events. They are eligible for any discounted rates/fees made available to Society Members.

Promotion as a Member in Society Publications

Membership Certificate and Annual Certificate Seals
Each Affiliate Member will be issued a certificate of Society Membership subsequent to acceptance in the Society. Annual membership seals will be issued by the Society upon payment of annual fees. When affixed to membership certificates, the seal will indicate membership in good standing.

Customized Mailouts /Advertising Opportunities
Affiliate Members are eligible to select a wide range of advertising options to be featured in the Trillium. Costs vary with size and complexity of the service required. Affiliate Members are able to advertise at lower rates than non-members.

Sponsorship of Society Educational and Social Events
Affiliate Membership will be given priority of sponsorship for Society educational or social events. Sponsors of such programs and events will be acknowledged in the newsletter , event programs as well as on site acknowledgments.

Affiliate Membership Opportunities
Society meetings, education and social programs provide for informal professional interaction. Some events may also allow for Affiliate Members to rent display areas. Head office will advise members when these opportunities exist.

    The Association is pleased to announce that last year’s Qindex research conducted in partnership with the University of Toronto has now been published in Longwoods’ Healthcare Quarterly.

    The Qindex is a composite metric of the nine publicly reported CIHI quality indicators (falls, antipsychotic use, pain, worsened pain, restraint use, worsened physical functioning, improved physical functioning, depression, and pressure ulcers).
